Healing Hoop Society

                                        This organization was developed to teach and study different Holistic and Natural
                                        Ways of Healing. The main teachings are Native American Shamanision, but we
                                        also encourage other ethnic and religious or faith healing techniques.

                                        The society does fundraisers to help deploy the cost of Shadow Dance Medicine
                                        Lodge Holistic and Massage services to those who qualify . Although no one is
                                        turned away. because of their income, nationality, or race or even what they
                                        believe in.

                                        Funds are also used in educational materials, public demonstrations, and certifications.

                                        Healing Hoop society plans are to open a Free Clinic and also a place where future
                                        massage students can do internships in Holistic environment.

                                        This society is not a religion or a cult, but a group of humans that wish to use
                                         their gifts they were born with  in making this world a little better.

                                        The Healing Hoop meets every other Sunday, from March to December at the
                                        Medicine Lodge, 202 Tanyard Hollow Road, Connellsville.

                                        During the better weather months the Healing Hoop plans on having Native
                                        drumming, charity bands concerts, and other big ticket fundraisers.

                                        As of right now, the following has taken place:

                                        Secretary/Web Designer - Marden Pomplas

                                        There is 10 members to date that are active. Other members are donators'. We
                                        offer active and social memberships.

                                        The Healing Hoop Society is to the Medicine Lodge like the Auxiliary are to the
                                        Fire Departments.

                                        We have two buildings donated for the Healing Hoop and Medicine Lodge. The
                                         buildings are now getting estimates to renovate and up-date them.

                                        There is a four room house with full basement and cellar house that is on one and
                                        one-half acres of land that will soon become available as a rent to own, along with
                                        the buildings. This estate was county assessed at $80,000 dollars. The price is
                                        negotiable. The taxes on this property is $800 dollars a year. This includes school
                                        and county taxes.

                                        The Healing Hoop Society along with The Medicine Lodge will be having different fundraisers
                                        during the year to raise money for expansion and continuing education public education.

                                        We are going to auction off arts and crafts, gift certificates, and different event tickets.
                                        Keep an eye out on the sites every month starting in February.
